There is no way for them to stop this attack as long as they are not alerted to your presence and are able to put distance between you. Now they are ready to be executed with the tap of a button. When little circles appears over their heads, tap the mark button to make those circles red. If the enemies are not aware of your presence, get into a position where you can look directly at them. After taking down an enemy with a hand-to-hand kill or pulling them into a human shield, typically performed when Fisher has waited in the shadows for somebody to get too close (and simply pulled off by tapping a kill button), you get access to an instant death move for at least two enemies. One of the biggest additions to Conviction in the Xbox 360 game is used here in the iPhone version - mark and execute. I like this Fisher and its one of the reason why, despite a handful of technical issues, I enjoyed Conviction on the iPhone. Fisher still uses stealth, but the trial-and-error precision of the original Splinter Cell games has been subverted and replaced with a more forgiving system where, in the event Fisher is spotted outside the shadows, he has the speed and firepower to go coolly ballistic and kill his attackers.
